コンサルティング企業Right Managementが米国で行った調査によると、2011年には7割の従業員が有給休暇を残したとのこと。使われなかった有給休暇は平均して11日、もしくは割り当てられた日数の7割に上ったという。背景にあるのは「貢献する気がない、もしくは怠け者と見られる」ことへのおそれだそうだ。
